Antique Victorian 'Sarah' name brooch set in sterling silver. The brooch has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1896 in Birmingham, England from sterling silver. The brooch is highly decorated. Bar brooches were very popular during the Victorian era, they would have been worn at the top of the collar.
